4 basic tips to extend the life of your footwear

Clean them with care

Drying

Waterproof them

Store them properly

Clean them with care
Dust and dirt can wear down and stain the materials over time. Clean them using a soft brush or a cotton or microfibre cloth. Dampen them with a mixture of warm water and potassium soap or, if not available, neutral soap. Gently rub to avoid damaging the finish or altering the colours, especially on patterned styles.

Drying
If they get wet, avoid direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators or hairdryers, as these can dry out or deform the materials. Let them dry at room temperature with paper inside to help them keep their shape.

Store them properly
Good storage also makes a difference. Keep them in a dry, ventilated place; if in drawers, avoid friction when storing. If they are made of leather or suede, use shoe trees or fill them with paper to prevent deformation.
Protect them with the right product
